Work for the best!  IHFA has an immediate opening for a Mortgage Lender Liaison in our Homeownership Lending Department in Boise.  This position assists with all questions from lenders, potential borrowers, and company employees on IHFA programs.

Job Duties:

  • Point of contact for lenders, brokers and realtors using IHFA programs

  • Provide telephone and email support and answer program inquiries

  • Act as ‘Scenario Desk’ and IHFA mortgage product specialist

  • Provide training for lenders on IHFA systems

  • Maintain database information as needed

  • Assist in preparing trainings and seminars

Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Two years of experience in residential loan processing, closing or servicing, or a combination of education, customer service and experience in a related field is preferred
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees, lenders, customer and clients
  • Ability to work independently, schedule, organize, prioritize and complete job responsibilities
  • Proficiency in Excel preferred
