Job Description

Idaho Housing and Finance Association has the above immediate opening in Boise, Idaho. This position will be responsible for administration and monitoring of HMIS/CMIS (Homeless Management Information System/Client Management Information System) systems within our Homelessness Programs department.
Job Duties:

  • Develop, update, implement, monitor, and conduct annual reviews from HMIS/CMIS (Homeless Management Information System).

  • Conduct policy and procedure training.

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of regulation requirements for federal programs.

  • Monitor the HMIS systems for compliance & security.

  • Use system database to run reports for data entry, quality reviews, audits, compliance, and end user support.

Job Requirements


  • Four year degree from an accredited university and/or the equivalent of two years of full-time experience in auditing function and ensuring compliance of federal regulations preferred.

  • Prior experience working with HMIS or federal homeless programs a plus.

  • Relational database and monitoring experience preferred.

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Attention to detail and previous customer service support preferred.

  • Must meet tight deadlines, and be self motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on a team.

  • This position requires occasional travel.
